He has more than 30 years’ of experience working in the construction sector, after having started as a Carpenter and Joiner Apprentice.
Since 2000, he has progressed from a career in construction into teaching, delivering careers and school programs as a CITB Construction Ambassador.
Leroy has considerable experience in delivering employment and skills programs specifically designed for young people. People with disabilities, the long-term unemployed, and women in construction.
Having collaborated very closely with schools, Leroy is committed to training the next generation of craftsmen and women and can demonstrate an excellent track record of identifying, monitoring, evaluating, and interpreting best practices in the construction industry.
He has also successfully delivered accredited and non-accredited construction training throughout London and the Southeast, working with communities in the boroughs of Southwark, Lewisham, Lambeth, Hammersmith, Ealing, Wandsworth, Camden, Islington, Tower Hamlets, Croydon, Merton, Westminster, Barking & Dagenham, Havering, Brent, and Richmond, providing a “gateway” to employment for successful course participants.
We provide bespoke and holistic pre-employability training for disadvantaged young people aged 16 to 25+ years.
Our online and classroom-based courses provide young people with access to employment.
